“Roland JX3-P Vintage Analogue Synthesizer With PG200 Programmer. This was overhauled before I bought it a few years back and hasn’t seen too much use since. Lovely white keys and very clean graphics. It’s been a cherished synth.

This is in excellent condition. A hugely underrated synth from Roland’s classic 80s era. Often overlooked by the Juno range, when paired with the PG200 you have all the hands on control you could possible want. Two DCO’s with cross mod opens up the possibilities of tones. It has a lovely chorus setting and filters more akin to the Jupiter 6 or 8.

Bass…..rich and deep.

Pads, lush.

Plucks, sweep the filter or resonance and it’s spot on for electronic music.

“Roland JP-8000 in very good condition condition. Excellent sounding synthesizer and everything is working perfectly. Capacitors on the main board have been changed to ensure that this does not experience the common faulty output problem with the JP8000. The JP8000 is part of Roland’s analogue modelling technology and incorporated the super saw tooth wave. The synth has a lovely fat sound and is excellent for dance music. “This synth is sold as-is in heavily used condition. It powers on and is usable for music, you can select patches and play notes over midi without issues, but some other functionality would require repairs in order to work at full functionality.

It does power on and function, but there are some issues:
– The “Sens” slider in the Edit section of of the synth is scratchy and does not always register its position correctly when the synth is in patch edit mode.
– The “Rate” slider in the Sequencer section is scratchy and does not seem to work in some positions, so it is difficult to control the rate of playback for the internal sequencer.
– The cap for the “Sens” slider is missing
– One of the keyboard keys does not play when pressed (E key in the second highest octave (E6))
– The chorus function works, but it has a ground hum or some other form a quiet electronic interference that makes noise when the chorus is turned on.
