“Transcendent 2000 Analogue Monosynth includes rare filter pedal and manual – famously used by Joy Division and still a very nice sounding and useful synth with a nice keyboard action.
In very good condition, recently serviced and working perfectly. It includes the very rare filter control pedal, and also the original bound builders guide – this is an original document, not a photocopy. So certainly one for the synth collectors out there!
This dates back to the late 1970’s so is not new and has some age related marks as you would expect, however nothing too bad as can be seen from the pictures. “The fine item you are considering is a Rare Vintage Powertran Transcendent DPX Synthesizer Keyboard. This super-rare synth from the UK company Powertran was offered in a kit form only back in the 1980’s, leaving it up to the buyer to actually construct the keyboard. From all reports, very few of these are still functional, but amazingly, this one is! The keyboard is powering up, and all the keys are working, although one key does stick down when depressed. I can’t tell if the various other buttons are doing anything, as no matter what I press I still seem to be hearing the same type of sound, so some aspects may need work, but I’m astounded that it’s working at all after reading some reports on the web. Cosmetically, the unit shows typical wear but still makes a nice overall impression. Please see my photos to have a look at this nice item.” 
“Rare Joy Division sounding Transcendent 2000, not in currently working condition. The unit was in transformation to being made into a rack model from a keyboard, since 3 of the keys do not work. Photos of the keys are included and the power cord was removed to install a 110v power supply for use in the U.S. You can continue to work on it for a rack or desktop model, and that would actually be a beautiful synth.
“Does not have powercord for testing. Two keys seem to have missing spring inside and one is cracked underneath. Overall, the surface of synth is in excellent shape, and the inside circuit board free from deterioration.”
