“Rare PAiA 2720 modular synthesizer. I bought this one from Robert Rich a long time ago (https://robertrich.com/).
I am selling it untested. It is my understanding that it was working before I bought it, but it was built from a kit, so I am not making any guarantees about condition. it is missing some screws, has some rusty screws and spots, and the case around the pitch knob is loose.

“Very rare PAiA Stringz N Thingz synthesizer. Decent cosmetic condition considering its age. Comes in its own case.
Functionally, it partially works – seems to make the cello and violin sounds, not sure if the piano sound is working properly, the modulator seems to work, the sustain and mix knobs don’t seem to do anything.

“We tried testing this unit, but couldn’t get any sound out of it. Our hope is for someone with some electronics expertise to repair this synthesizer to its former glory.
It has been sitting in storage for quite some time, so it could definitely use a good cleaning.

I don’t have the original power supply, but I have used a universal power supply over the years with it and the unit turns on, without any burnt out LEDs, and works well. “This Make Noise Modular Shared System was purchased directly from the factory is Asheville, NC in 2016. It has all of the original modules that came with the complete system and I have added a Make Noise ‘Tempi’ and a Make Noise ‘MMG Filter’. It comes with the CV Bus, original case and lid, and a large number of assorted size patch cables – everything you need to get up and running. There are a few stackable cables included and the power cord. This unit went from the factory to my smoke free studio and has never left.”

” This analog modular synthesizer is made by Synthesizers.com. It is based on their Entry System and has some extra modules added sp as to become more like their Studio-22 system. The Studio-22 sells for $3104 and the Entry System sells for $1750. Adding up the costs for all the individual modules set the cost at $2099.
