“This was a rescue that needed a lot of work. Synth works and sounds great now. Has cosmetic wear to the faceplate, see photos. No circuit modifications were performed, everything was left as it was.

Work performed:

-Full power supply recap (Nichicon electrolytics)

-All solder joints reflowed on every single board (this actually restored full electronic functionality)

-New Alpha brand 10K power/volume potentiometer switch (Original broken)

-All pots, switches, and faders fully flushed out with contact cleaner and followed up with DeOxit Faderlube as needed

-New knobs (Originals missing)

-New fader caps (Originals missing)

-Keybed removed and fully disassembled and inspected, keys ultrasonically cleaned (needed no repairs or adjustments, was just very dirty)

-New 2-prong power cable properly soldered in (no splices or twist caps)

-New custom-cut unfinished birch ply side panels from Send Cut Send (originals were heavily damaged/broken, hole alignment isn’t perfect, still looks good, finish them in the stain/color of your choice)

-New black 3D printed keyboard side trim pieces (designed them myself in CAD, originals were heavily damaged/broken)

-New 3D printed Korg badge on back (Designed myself in CAD, original one was missing)

I put a lot of work into this synth, and I hope whoever ends up with it makes lots of cool music with it. It sounds awesome.”

“Cooper’s has a Korg X-911 guitar synthesizer up for auction. Overall this unit is in POOR SHAPE. There are scratches, scuffs, nicks, signs of rust, missing side panel, missing model/serial badge as well as other signs of wear. The unit does power on, however it has NOT been tested. Additionally, do note that there are two buttons missing (I can not get the buttons to do anything when pressed) and one of the sliding knob covers is missing. “This is a European unit. It runs on 230 volts. It’s a very easy and cheap fix. You can get a step-up / step-down transformer on Amazon for around $30.00. It will need a Euro to US adapter on the output as I don’t have the original power cord. It runs flawlessly on a transformer. Everything else is exactly the same. The LCD is still very visible as you can see in the pictures. Manuals and extra sound cards in the pictures are included. Korg 800DV

“It is in fair condition considering its age.

The original side pieces and keyboard end blocks have been replaced with solid wood which are exact reproductions of the originals.

I will send the original wood pieces along with the synth if you so desire.

All of the original slider caps and knobs are present.

The front panel does have some chipping around certain controls that were used often while playing (see pictures).

The interior of the synth is in excellent condition and doesn’t appear to have ever been worked on (see pictures).

All of the metal surfaces are in very good condition.

I’m including a copy of the owner’s manual.

As for functionality, I have tested all of the knobs and sliders and everything seems to work with the following exceptions;

1. When the the Lower Voice wave shape knob is set to pulse wave and the Lower Voice “foot” control is in the 8′ position, there is no sound from that oscillator. (The other oscillator on the lower voice still works).

2. The 3 position switch that controls the Upper Voice Vibrato is always on no matter what position the switch is in but the Vibrato sliders (Speed and Depth) still function normally.

Please note that you may find something else that is not quite right going on with this synth but considering it’s age, I would say that over all it is functioning pretty well.

The synth has never been recapped and being almost 50 years old it is probably due for a complete capacitor change. This will undoubtedly fix the minor problems it currently has.

Condition of the paint is fair, (please look at the pictures) though functionally it is in good condition. The output jacks will scratch a bit if you twist the connector and I will clean them with Deoxit before shipping; audio comes through clear, but I wanted to mention it. “Korg Poly-61, fair condition. I tested it and it does work to the extent I was able to test it-I could change programs, the joystick functions in all directions, and the keys work-although the Eb just above middle C is damaged and will sometimes stick or be glitchy. The program change buttons sometimes require a couple of taps to effect a change. I will try to post a short video showing the operation of the keyboard. The entire keybed is somewhat loose in the frame. The end plates are damaged, and one in particular shows deterioration from water. Even though it works, I’m listing it as “for parts or not working. It’s heavy-I’d estimate that it’ll be about 27 pounds packed up (it’s just over 22 pounds by itself). “This is the rare Korg DW-6000 Synthesizer. Many sounds from the 80s are on this synth. I had one in the 80s but lost it along the way. Bought this one about 5 years ago. I had to reload all of the sounds back on.

Sold AS iS. I cannot give any warranty on this. I amazed it all works like it does. I tested left and right outputs, tune up and down, joys stick, etc.. I did not test any of the other functions such as write to tape or programming. I only tested all of the sounds. If some sound a bit distorted, it did not sound that way in my room. I think my video camera mic was overloaded. Original proprietary power cord included. Selling as is with no returns. You can see a long boring video of this on youtube to see what you are buying. ”
