“This Korg M1 Keyboard was used by Dominic Glynn to create the soundtrack to the Doctor Who TV story Survival.
It was the final story in the classic Doctor Who series from 1989 starring Sylvester McCoy and Sophie Aldred.
Many of the distinctive sounds from Survival were made using this M1.
The keyboard is in perfect working order, having been newly serviced, but has the scratches you may expect from a well-loved synth from the late 80s.
It comes with a letter of authentication signed by Dominic Glynn. If requested, Dominic will also sign the keyboard.

The buttons and jog wheel around the LCD screen work (as does the LCD screen itself). Some of the other buttons are more temperamental or don’t work anymore such as some on the numeric keypad. “Old and well used but still functioning. I recently replaced the lithium battery and re-installed the original factory setting – prog and combi sounds. Some of the buttons are a little sticky especially the sequencer functions and may need replacing if you want to use the keyboard as a step sequencer. Has the same 4 operator FM chip as Yamaha DX100/27. Powers up to an almost blank screen (black squares actually) and the coloured buttons flash briefly, so not booting up properly. “The fine item you are considering is a Vintage Korg MS-20 Synthesizer In Custom Rack No Keyboard. This cool vintage synth from Korg is the original MS-20 but someone has separated the main unit from the keyboard and mounted it in a custom wood cabinet. Note, I do not have a keyboard, only the unit as pictured. The power cord coming out of the unit has a Euro type plug with a U.S. type adapter on it, so I have no idea what type of power it’s set up to use, so I’m not going to try plugging it in for fear of damaging something. The unit looks to be in well cared for cosmetic condition, with no signs of damage, but since I have no way to test it, I’m selling it “as is” and as “parts not working”. “My original, bought from brand-new, one owner, KorgM1 Workstation.
Fully working order, currently loaded with the original, iconicM1 sounds including the classic dance piano and organ used on oh so many hits of the 90’s and now, 30 years on (additional sounds can be added via convenient ROM cartridges/downloads – many such available on eBay).
There keyboard is in decent all-round condition with only, age related, cosmetic, minor marks and scratches. Normal ‘used’ wear and tear for the its age. Largely looking good considering it has been gigged around the world, including at Dynamo Olympic Stadium, Children of Chernobyl Benefit Concert.
M1 Keyboard only, plus mains (kettle) lead, the original paper manuals have been lost for some time although are easily available online. The Internal battery was replaced approximately 2 years ago.

This is a very rare memory expander (like a memory card) for several mid 80’s Korg synthesizers. It is compatible with the DW-8000, EX-8000, DW-6000, Poly 800 mk2, EX-8000, DVP-1 vocoder, and it may be as well for the SDD-3300, but I can not confirm that, and I do not know the DIP setting for that unit.
It has four banks of storage, each with 64 patches per bank. Takes about 5 seconds to Load or Save a bank.
One thing to note is that each of the banks can be used as storage for any combination of the noted Korg units, as you can set the DIP switch for each bank individually per bank.
For example you could have one bank dedicated to a DW-8000 and another bank dedicated to an EX-800 and so on. Or of course you can use all 4 banks , a total of 256 patches for one unit.
* Any 9v center negative 200mA power supply should work, or you can run this on batteries. The 9V supply I included works, but is not a tight fit in the jack. You need to rotate it to the position like in the photo for it to work.” Click here to visit listing on eBay

“Korg Polysix with Kiwitechnics Kiwisix Upgrade.
Here for sale is a Korg Polysix WITH a Kiwisix upgrade. Why so cheap? First, because I want to actually meet the buyer. I’m not going to ship it. We could arrange something where I drive and meet you somewhere. Second, because the Kiwisix upgrade isn’t finished. The Kiwisix board has been installed but the tuning procedure has not been done. Because of this each octave of the keyboard is slightly out of tune. A few keys are not responsive and will need conductive paint applied to them or new rubber key contacts. All of the controls work, but to access some of the additional Kiwisix functions further modifications must be done. All of this is explained in the Kiwisix manual. The keyboard does make audio come out of its outputs as it should. The original KLM-387A board is included, complete with fried traces from where the battery leaked out. Keys removed from keyed and individually cleaned, together with the keybed PCB contacts and rubber actuator.
A full PSU recap
New KLM-367A replacement board installed from Synthtronics
All 19 tact switches have been replaced with quality Omron switches.
LED on Manual button has been modded with an amber light together with an amendment to the resistor.
Each knob and switch cap has been through a Retrobrite process (to de-yellow) – it looks stunning.
All potentiometers and switches have been cleaned, lubricated and deoxidised.
Each screw has been removed and deoxidised to give a classy “gun metal” appearance.
Finally, it has fully calibrated and the factory patches re-loaded.”

Korg Poly 61, works perfectly, in really nice cosmetic condition, all voices work, battery has been changed with new battery and moved away from circuit board, there has never been any battery acid corrosion etc, all buttons work fine, MIDI kit installed that has a MIDI in connection (The MIDI port is connected to a MIDI cable that you can plug into your DAW/MIDI out etc).
A Poly 61 with a MIDI in port is brilliant and makes it infinitely more fun than a standard Poly 61.
If you have lusted after a Poly 61 the this is the one – This model here looks great, sounds great and the MIDI in is the cherry on the cake.”

most of these are in a terrible stae the wood and metal but this one lookg just gorgeous
it even has both original joysticks which are almost always missing or replaced
its in fully wokring order with slight crackle when turning the volume knob thats about it
it was one of the first synths with aftertouch for pitchbend and vibrato
its a synthesizer / preset two engine synth
the synthesizer section reminds a bit of the ms-20 series with dual filter
the preset section has still lots of parameters to adjusts on top
also an insane ring modulator that sounds very korg and a good amount of connectivity on the back including cv gate of course”
