We’ve had nearly all vintage synths but never had one of these, so we were pretty excited about buying one for the collection, or at least playing with for a while until we got tired of it. So we emailed our tech and he was like “yeah, sure, I can fix it, no prob”…..until he returned from vacation and we took a close look at it and discussed what it would take to get it up to our high standards, which, admittedly, are way higher than most. I have tested out the keys to make sure they work – They all make similar buzzing noises when headphones are attached
I did not get sound without having headphones attached
I did not plug it into an amplifier to test out that feature
It seems almost all of the keys work except for a couple – (I am not familiar with this item so I could have punched them in incorrectly)
This was being powered by 6 “D” batteries – (Batteries not included)

Unit has been tested thoroughly. All buttons, slider, display, audio out, modulation and pitch bend wheel are working. The only issue is 2 missing buttons as seen in pic…we have made replacement buttons that work although they are not casio buttons. Also I dont know if the screen is supposed to light up more that’s it shows.as you can see in pic the

“This synth is in working condition . The power supply is not original, it is a universal type installed by the local music shop . I have not used the battery option but everything seems to be accounted for. There is a cigarette burn right by the Casio logo and slight warping on the control panel and a couple of keys ( SEE PICS ) . The fader button is missing on the volume but the volume works All buttons and knobs etc are working . Missing one keytar knob .
