“This is a unique vintage Korg Maxi-Korg synthesizer. This synth is also known as the Korg 800DV. This Univox K3 was sold in the US under the name Maxi-Korg K3. The power of the Maxi-Korg lay in the way it could create and play sounds. In essence, it was two Korg 700S synths in a single box, so you could treat it as two distinct synths, creating two different sounds, and then playing them independently. Some other mid-’70s synths allowed you to play two notes, but these used the same patch parameters for both. Only the Maxi-Korg could produce two sounds that you could play as a composite, or as two independent synths. Yet this was only half the story, because the 800DV allowed you to allocate the voices in a huge variety of ways. This made it possible to program more realistic, more expressive, or more off-the-wall sounds than was possible on other monosynths. The Maxi-Korg was, and remains, one of the most impressive, flexible and articulate synths ever built.
As the original owner, I know this Korg synthesizer to be in excellent condition with no known problems.”

“Another hidden treasure from uncle Freddie’s stash… It powers up and plays, not sure if all controls work- I’m not into synths/keyboards, but I did get some fun sounds through the headphone output! It needs a thorough cleaning and restoration/repair or is perfect for spare parts for your Delta. The joystick is broken off but is still functional, three slider knobs are missing, and the sliders and pots and could stand to be lubricated, tightened and/or replaced… Please note how some of the ink has been scratched off. This is being sold as-is. Shipping is being estimated at $125 due to final packaged size and weight, but I’ll happily refund the difference if the actual shipping charge is much less.”

“The keyboard is in full working condition with one exception. The spring on one of F# keys does not function and neither does the key. The cover on the function keys is cracked in four places but the keys beneath do themselves work. In both cases see the photos I have included of these defects. There are also a number of small scuffs and scratches of a cosmetic nature”

“I am selling a Yamaha DX100 Keyboard Synthesizer. This synthesizer has been tested and the only thing I have to report is: there are 2 knobs missing volume and data entry, but this does not affect use and the output jack does not function 100%, headphone jack works fine/ Keys are a little crusty, but they do work, and it clears up the more you play it. Therefore I am selling this unit as is. ”

“Sequential Circuits Polyphonic Sequencer Model 1005 in very good cosmetic condition but not completely functional. When I owned a Prophet 5 the sequencer did function normally when recording and playing back sequences from it’s internal memory. Braemar tape drive appeared to be defective back then so drive may need repaired or replaced to save, playback and store to and from tape. I no longer own the Prophet 5 so I can’t troubleshoot or test sequencer any further.
A new old stock Braemar tape drive is included with a final test “Pass” printout but it’s present working condition is unknown.
Also includes 2 Braemar tape cassettes and original manual.”

“Up for auction is a vintage Sequential Circuits MAX Synthesizer keyboard. This unit is working and seems to have most all functions in place and operative. I’m guessing the unit has 6-note polyphony, and it sports a rudimentary onboard sequencer – ‘Start’ button is missing, and I didn’t bother to try and test the sequencer function as I doubt it would stack up against, well, anything made after 1982. You get basically 7 banks of 10 sounds, and apparently the only way to ‘deep edit’ the sounds is via computer. (Note that by progressing further into editor mode you will be officially flirting with full-blown geekification.) I can’t even dare to guess what hoops you’d have to jump through to get a modern computer to communicate with MAX, clearly a throwback to the heady infancy of financially accessible analog synthdom. Perhaps there are generic editor programs out there…? That said, there are a handful of onboard presets that are recognizable, and I daresay that in bank 4 (40-49) there is at least one startling TB-303 soundalike. MAX appears to be responding to MIDI in Omni mode, though Poly mode is selectable. External Pitch and Mod wheels are recognized, but suspiciously, Volume is not. ‘Tune’ button is missing, but the unit sounds like it powers up at concert pitch. Back panel power jack is looking for 8 Volts AC / 800ma – I am including a 10V adapter that seems to work fine, but I would suggest being on the lookout for a proper 8V / 800ma adapter. Cosmetically, the unit is in pretty good shape, looking good for its age. I cannot test every single function on this synth, and I have tried to describe it as accurately as possible – I am selling it As-Is and As-Described.”

Data entry fader knob is missing, the data entry fader works, I use a toothpick, a fader knob is .99c on the bay. Also the floppy eject button is missing, also a toothpick works, I’m sure you can be more creative than me. Knobs will be removed for shipping. They slide on and off. Firmware is 2.10 feb 1988. “Very rare vintage Crumar DS-2 analog/digital synth. In good cosmetic shape – all knobs and sliders are there and front panel looks good. Has some tape residue on the back. Does not have the lid.
**Has some major functional problems** – it will need work: Only one of the VCOs seems to work and the poly section is not outputing, many of the sliders and pots are scratchy, the VCF and filters seem to work correctly, all keys seem to work, the bender bar is hard to move, and the Pitch poly pot is a little warped. Still makes some cool weird sounds, but definitely not in normal working order.

“Purchased in 2002. Very clean condition. There is no pulse wave on VCO 2. It came that way when I bought it, so I just leave it on Triangle which sounds just great. The manual says you can vary the slope of the Triangle waves, but I have never been able to do that. You can vary the pulse wave on VCO 1. Everything else works great. Two sub oscillators to create a really fat sound, plus cross mod and sync to get some very interesting sonic explorations. These synths are quite rare and not up for sale very often. They are direct descendants of Oberheim’s SEM modules. A true piece of synthesizer history.”

” Bought in 2006. Excellent condition and great sounds. Played it for 2 years before I became aware of the regulator problem. Mine has the original LM2940, which owners are advised to replace. The parts are extremely cheap, its the soldering that I cant do (have palsy in my hands), and was unable to find a tech that looked reliable, so I put the Fizz to rest. Haven’t played her in 10 years, but she’s in a temp and humidity controlled studio. After my initial search for a qualified tech, I haven’t tried again. I have a Waldorf XTk which I love, so I thought I would put the Fizz up for sale, and pare down a little on my synth collection. I’m hoping that there’s someone that knows about this wonderful synth that is also handy with a soldering iron, that will be interested. Comes with manual, but not the wall wort power supply. That was underpowered, and got lost somewhere in the shuffle. They are easy to find and inexpensive. You need a 9V with 1300-1500 mA. ”
