“This dates from around 1989 to 1990. It is the 4 operator version of Yamaha’s FM, but unlike the earlier DX7 it has a choice of waveforms, so the 4-operator version is easier to use but still powerful. I have owned it since 1992, never gigged.
It has a few scratches, but is otherwise in very good condition. The RAM battery needs replacing, but it works with the factory presets. You can download sounds and performance patches to it via MIDI, and you can program sounds. It will not retain any new sounds until the RAM battery is replaced.”
